4 Favorite Blogs

There are so many blogs out there it can be difficult to sift through them all and find one that you really connect with. I find my favorite blogs to be more like a magazine; outfit ideas, updates on the latest trends, and home decor inspiration! I thought I would share 4 of my absolute favorites with you.

Gal Meets Glam

Gal Meets Glam is a San Francisco based fashion blog that I follow pretty religiously. Julia and her husband work on the blog full time together and take the most amazing photographs all over the world. They are avid travelers and keep their readers included in the adventure posting about their travel itinerary and where they stayed. Her look is super feminine but simple and classic and I totally relate to it. The clothing price point can be a bit rich for my blood at times, but I am always going back to her Instagram for some outfit inspo.

The Londoner

The Londoner is a lifestyle blog by Rosie who lives in, you guessed it, London! She has a wonderful website filled with beautiful pictures of her travels, fashion, and what’s going on around Londontown. She has a goofy sense of humor which comes across in her writing right away, with cheesy puns and jokes. I don’t necessarily follow her for fashion as much, although she has a great sense of style, as I do for her adventures and restaurant reviews. She’s always somewhere fantastic!

Chronicles of Frivolity

Chronicles of Frivolity follows Katey, a newlywed Texan who also just announced she’s pregnant! Katey’s posts are varied with fashion and beauty, with a few recipes in between, but what I love is her home decor. She keeps her readers up-to-date with the decorative changes in her home, and I just love her interior design style. What I also love, is she will recognize that life isn’t always a perfectly staged picture that you see on blogs, and while beauty products and a cute outfit are great, it’s not what gives you value as a person. She’s a down to earth girl with a big heart, and the kind of girl you definitely want to be friends with.

The Everygirl

The Everygirl is, hands down, my #1 favorite. It compiles everything I love in to one website and has countless articles that could keep me reading for far too long. They don’t only cover beauty, fashion and decor, but also career advice, finance, wellness, culture, and profiles on fellow #GirlBosses. It’s your favorite magazine at your fingertips that’s updated daily. The contributing writers are based all around the country and have a writing style just like any of my favorite bloggers; real-talk with a side of wit. You can read either “An Ode to Rachel Green” or “Why Earning More Shouldn’t Mean Spending More”. I mean, that’s some amazing content right there.

“The Everygirl Manifesto:
Whether she is searching for her dream job or a new city to call home;
is saving up for a down payment or a trip to Europe;
is learning to cook or speak another language,
she wants a little guidance. She wants to be inspired.

She is The Everygirl.

This is for her.”

This is their manifesto, or what some businesses may call their mission statement. If you check out the ‘About Us’ page, you will see right away what their intentions are with the website.

There are countless amazing girls out there with great blogs, these are just the ones I find myself going to the most and have bookmarked on my computer. I hope you take some time to check them out. I get something different from each of them, but they all inspire me in such a positive way.

Let me know if you have a favorite blog you frequent! I love to swap and find someone new to check out.
